On Friday Jimmie and I drove to San Antonio for a quick day trip. When I tell you it was quick I mean super quick, there and back in the same day!
On the first stop I visited the Guenther House Museum and Restaurant, I read about this place before heading to San Antonio. I wanted to go because they were highly recommended for their southern sweet cream waffles and they were so good! I paired with their strawberry lemonade this was a great start to my day. The wait to be seated was about an hour and 15 mins but totally worth the wait, the next time I go there I want to try these same waffle but with strawberry hahah the waiter recommended it!
For lunch we ate at yet another recommended place ahah, Henry’s puffy tacos. The bomb.com these things are so crunchy and I think that is why I enjoyed them even more paired with rice and beans. (I took pictures on snapchat then forgot to save them 🙁 now how did I do that ugh).
I’ve never been the one to try and find new places or research them before I reach a new city. But with us being in 2017 and this is for sure a year of travel for me I have just got to explore!
Stay tuned for my Las Vegas “whats in my bag” blog post this week, Thanks for stopping by!
