I am excited to announce that I have partnered with Smile Brilliant for a collaboration about their at home Teeth Whitening kit! As a blogger, it is essential for my smile to be on point at all times because I take pictures weekly for my blog, I also drink plenty of Starbucks as well so my teeth have a bit of coffee stains. I have super sensitive teeth and I was slightly afraid to whiten my teeth because of that. Smile Brilliant carries two different kits and I am so thankful for that! There is the normal kit, which contains just the teeth whitening products and there is also the package for sensitive teeth which is what I got also here is an article about sensitive teeth. This is an affordable at home teeth whitening kit and I hope that you can enjoy it as well.
So first things first, I received my package in the mail and all the instructions and supplies are included. I will go through step by step about what I did. There is two parts as well, first is creating the mold and the second part will be how I whitened my teeth.
Part 1: Preparation
The catalyst and base for the mold / Tray to create the mold / Desensitizing gel / Whitening gel / Package to mail molds along with information card to fill out
Molding your Tray’s
Step 1: Mix the Catalyst & Base Paste until complete mixed.
Step 2: Place Putty in Tray, this needs to be done within 30 secs to prevent putty from hardening.
Step 3: Place tray in mouth, be sure not to wiggle, bite down. Hold tray impression in mouth for 2 min and 30 sec.
Step 4: Repeat for the bottom impression.
Step 5: Fill out the information card and mail off the tray impression’s to the lab for processing.
P.S. it only took about a week and a half for the impression to ship be made and to be sent back to me.
Part 2: Utilizing the product’s
Applying the Whitening gel
This is the fun part….
Step 1: Place a thin line of whitening gel on the tray impressions
Step 2: Place tray on the appropriate teeth
Step 3: Leave the tray in your mouth for 30 min to 3 hours
Step 4: Rinse mouth out, and at this point you can brush your teeth with toothpaste.
It is important for you not to brush your teeth with toothpaste before whitening
Clean up time….
